Heirloom varieties are developed by farmers through natural crossbreeding and passed along to their kin, over generations. Our box includes a mix of over 35 heirloom varieties - red, yellow, orange, green, even black! The absolute best way to eat them is as a fruit, raw, soaking in the juices and variences of each variety. And if you still want to do something with it, slice them and simply soak them in olive oil, lime, and a sprinkle of salt.
PS These tomatoes last quite long if you simply leave them on the pantry counter - they don't need refrigeration.
